Meet Dr. Dat Phung
Dr. Dat Phung completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (D.D.S.) from the University of Detroit Mercy in 2005. It is from the personal and professional satisfaction of providing his patients with an increased self-confidence, an improved oral health and a better lifestyle that Dr. Phung gets his passion for dentistry. He has completed post-graduate studies in orthodontics and implant dentistry, and is an active member of the Canadian Dental Association (C.D.A,) and the Ontario Dental Association (O.D.A.).
The foundation for his philosophy comes from incorporating state-of-the-art dentistry in a comfortable and relaxing environment. He enjoys working with patients of all ages and believes that they should all benefit from excellent dental care. Dr. Phung is committed to providing quality dentistry, building long-lasting relationships and delivering patient-oriented dental care.
Brenda
Office Manager & Certified Dental Assistant
If there is true comfort in seeing a welcoming face, it’s Brenda’s. She is a Certified Level I & II Dental Assistant who graduated from George Brown College in 2008. Her role is vital at Valley Creek Dental; whether it is your first time at our office or you’re a long-time patient, Brenda makes every visit as stress-free as possible. If you have any questions about your procedures, she will be more than happy to provide you with answers. Brenda is a natural teacher; in this regard, she possesses excellent communication skills and functions as a liaison between the office and the patients. Furthermore, one quickly discovers from observing her actions that Brenda genuinely cares about the patients and her fellow coworkers; she is known for her infinite patience, caring demeanor and also for being an excellent listener. Brenda’s bubbly vibe is what keeps Valley Creek Dental a delightful atmosphere to be in. Her young and outgoing charm will surely make your visit a special one.
Melanie
Office Administrator & Dental Hygienist, RDH
Melanie is a recent honors graduate with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene. Melanie is also Valley Creek Dental’s office administrator/treatment coordinator. She is well conversed in dental procedures and is always happy to clarify any concerns you may have. She enjoys interacting with the patients, especially when it comes to educating them about dentistry and dental care. Melanie is very conscientious about her work and is very attentive to the patient’s needs. Patients appreciate her careful, gentle treatments; her attention to the small details and her relaxed manner that put them at ease. Her passion for dentistry combined with her attentiveness to detail and patient comfort is what will truly make your appointment a pleasant one.
Linda
Restorative Dental Hygienist, RRDH
Linda is a Restorative Dental Hygienist who works along with the Valley Creek Dental staff to promote healthy smiles. Linda has worked in all aspects of the dental office over the last 10 years and provides thorough dental care for all clients. Linda went to George Brown College for Dental Assisting Levels I & II, Dental Hygiene, and most recently, Restorative Dental Hygiene. Linda stays current on the latest procedures and techniques and strives to educate and inform patients on the latest treatments. She makes each dental visit a comfortable experience and enjoys the one on one interaction with each patient. She is highly regarded by her coworkers and patient’s alike. Linda's genuine care for her patients and her high attention to detail are what sets her apart from other providers.
Elizabeth
Dental Hygienist, RDH
Elizabeth is a Dental Hygiene graduate from George Brown College. She is an enthusiast who loves to educate and inform patients of dental conditions and discussing individualized treatment options and procedures. She strives to make every visit pleasant and comfortable while focusing on her patients individual dental needs with her gentle and caring spirit. Elizabeth enjoys the one on one interaction she encounters with each client and hopes to build lasting relationships. Elizabeth has a decidedly positive presence that is instantly announced by her beautiful and disarming smile. Elizabeth’s patient and caring demeanor is what makes Valley Creek Dental such a warm welcoming office and will surely make your visit an enjoyable one.
